“My research has led me toward exploring the psychological and visual boundaries of safety and invasion, the fear of intrusion through voyeuristic perspective, non-consent, and atmospheric dread. My work has in turn developed from exploring my contempt for isolation into an examination of the notion of aloneness being involuntarily breached by a malicious, ambiguous presence. I am enthralled by visualizing the emotional estuary where forensic science and humanization converge. As my research continues, I am driven to explore this dialogue between the forensic and the aesthetic; how visual language can rehumanize evidence, violation, and the human condition through a painterly lens.”
